Theremin Music by Clara Rockmore
Lithuanian born Clara Rockmore (1911-1998) is widely considered to be the greatest ever virtuosa of the theremin, using it to perform classical works.
She also worked directly with Léon Theremin, the inventor of the theremin, in the early days of the instrument's development making several suggestions to improve the theremin as a performing instrument.
In the clip to the right she plays The Swan by Charles Camille Saint-Saëns.
